The property you were on is private property. My sisters and I own that property. My great grandfather built the church, my grandmother's family vacationed there, and during WWII, the Italians built barracks there. We are very proud of this property. We don't mind people using our beach, but we hate the fact that they leave their garbage everywhere. For anyone who visits the island, please respect the beach and what is left of the houses.

The beach and area around the church is PRIVATE PROPERTY. It may look abandoned, but it is not. It belongs to the Georgeo family after a 37 year court battle, resulting in a Supreme court decision that awarded the property to my mother and her descendants, the property coming straight from her mother. I would refuse all visits to this island, as everyone who goes are considered trespassers.
